On April 15-16, 2019, a new generation sequencer, MiSeq, was installed at NTRC

The MiSeq system gives the first comprehensive sequencing solution, combining cluster generation, amplification, sequencing and data analysis in one unit.

It can perform automatic pair reading of up to 15 GB per cycle, providing over 600 sequence databases per reading. The library preparation kits are optimized for various applications, including target genes, small genome and amplicon sequencing, 16S metagenomics.

One compact device has all the necessary equipment to perform DNA sequence analysis: clusters generating module, pair-end sequencing module, and a module for analyzing and storing the obtained data.

After completed installation of device, the medical personnel planning to work with it has received training.
